Suggested Criteria

​

• Facility in a mild year round climate location to allow outside activity, and reduced interior space heating/cooling costs

• Ideally, a UA owned/leased hangar/ramp space for 5-6 aircraft including two wide bodies

• Ideally a UA airport

• A location with a minimum 7,000' runway to allow fly-in of all aircraft types

• A location with a significant number of UA active and retired employees to allow for help in setting up/maintaining equipment, displays and volunteerism

• A location in a large population area, and with ample access and parking

• A location away from other commercial airline museums

• A location where outside partners and vendors would be available to assist

• A location where outside caterers would be available to provide meeting/event support
